THE AWARDS CONFERMENT CEREMONY

Awards will be conferred on the selected winners at gala banquet to be hosted in the UAE-Dubai, the commercial capital of the United States, by the city’s Mayor. Attendance will be strictly by invitation and will comprise the awardees and their respective guests; top multilateral trade and investment facilitators and regulators; chieftains of corporate America; the diplomatic corps; and the international media. Table reservations can be made when announced to invitees by the organizers.

BUSINESS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Aside from the prestige conferred on awardees by their awards, the awards conferment event will be accompanied by formal opportunities to for business networking between the various groups of awardees. These well structured opportunities through platforms organized by the award’s organizers and hosts will take the form of group breakfasts/lunches/dinners for the various types of awardees, cocktails and, on request, dedicated one-on-one meetings. Product exhibitions can also be organized, based on specific requests.

These will provide a unique opportunity for the award winning investors and entrepreneurs from Africa to meet with equally exemplary award winning investors. entrepreneurs from the rest of the world, as well as outstanding quality public officials from African countries, with a view to forging business relationships in the form of partners, affiliates, suppliers, financiers, franchise product/service providers, and other business support providers. Crucially this will provide the opportunity to use emergent relations developed at the planned events, with proven exemplary business counter-parties and guaranteed persons of integrity, to secure entry into the African market, or entry by African enterprises into foreign markets.


TERMS & CONDITIONS

Awardees will not be required any fee or other payment in order to be nominated for an award or to actually be selected as an awardee. However, awardees must attend the conferment event in person or send a delegation. This is to ensure that the conferment event is fully attended by awardees. In the failure of an awardee to commit to physically attending the event, the award would be given to the first runner up in the selection process.
